You’re a piece of the puzzle that the world needs
I had an amazing coaching session with a client a few days ago where we talked about being weird, the odd one out in the family, the one who doesn’t fit in, the one who always challenges the status quo, the one who thinks for herself and has been relentless in the pursuit of her dreams.
She reminded me of the times when I didn’t accept myself – it’s pretty tough when the world wants you to be like everyone else and no matter how hard you try you can’t be!
Because..none of us are meant to. We’re not meant to fit into boxes.
None of us are here to deny or repress our true inner beauty.
None of us are here to simmer down our divine gifts, purpose, dreams, talents or creativity.
Wouldn’t that just diminish the whole point of our uniqueness?
Everything that makes up who you are is a gift to the world: your smile, your laughter, your sadness, your joy. You fit in exactly as you are.
You’re a piece of the puzzle that is needed.
You’re a piece of the puzzle that fits somewhere.
You have a part to play in the grand scheme of things and it’s far greater than you can imagine.
But in order to truly be a part of the puzzle you have to choose yourself.
Over and over again.
No matter how many times you stumble, lose your way or try to fit in instead of owning your individuality and power, choose yourself.
Choose to honour your journey.
Choose to trust the process of your becoming.
Choose to accept the detours, and come back home to your heart no matter what.
Choose to keep coming back to your divine nature and life’s purpose: They are your treasures to discover on this adventure called life.
But, whatever you do, don’t lose yourself to fit in.
You have a part to play in the grand scheme of things and it’s far greater than you can imagine.
