It’s so hard sometimes to put into words how heavy a heart hurts when witnessing violence & murder by racists. To look at another person and decide that because of the colour of their skin, they are not worthy of being respected, of being seen, of being understood, of being held with unconditional love….of being alive.
Instead, judgement…discrimination, complete dismissal, abuse of ‘power’, ignorance and violence.
The inner work to heal racism and discrimination is on all of us – we’re not helpless and we are not powerless – we are powerFULL because we get to make a new choice, a new thought in every single moment. A choice that bring us together as friends against oppression, abuse of power and violence.
We all have a duty to call out the BS of anyone that goes against the true human values of unity, unconditional love and peace…
And this work always starts within us first. Within me…where am I discriminating? Where did that belief come from?
Is it true?
What’s the Truth instead?
How can I show up without judgement and with understanding instead?
Are you willing to call out anyone who promotes racism and discrimination with courage? Be the example x
The work goes deep, the layers go deep, because the pain has been buried…denied… rejected…left for ‘another day’ for too long.
Prayers up, and taking action every step of the way towards a unified communities against discrimination xx
