Finally got rid of my TV last week – I’d rather watch the flowers bloom ✨
I’ve never been one to sit still to watch TV or films..all I’d usually watch is Location, Location, Location, A place in the Sun, Sunday Brunch and chilled radio stations.
Over the past few months I found myself getting annoyed at the lack of diversity representation during ads, the fear hype and lack of anything decent to watch & actually learn from. So, rather than wasting my time being distracted, I’m looking forward to doing this with my precious time:
1. Sitting in silence & reconnecting to God & clearing the mental space to hear my intuition.
2. Catching up with friends & family more often.
3. Getting clear on my 12month vision & start to manifest it with ease
4. Finish crocheting baby blankets
5. Reading*
6. Listening to music & TV shows in different languages which I’ve got rusty at speaking 😆 French & Spanish, learning Arabic & Turkish, watching comedy shows on Netflix
7. Writing my next book ✨💃.. Some books to read:
* How To Be An Anti-Racist – Ibram X Kendi
* I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings – Maya Angelou
* So You Want To Talk About Race – Ijeoma Oluo
* White Fragility – Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk about Racism – Dr Robin Diangelo * And books/content on racism in Asian communities.
Learning never stops. Choosing the path of self-love and empowerment is always available. Peace on the outside can only come when there is peace inside out hearts x
