If she can, so can I…How to eliminate comparison with every woman you meet x
Recently a friend asked me why I love helping women – in particular HELPING HER to love herself, master her money mindset and be as successful as she desires.
My answer is this….women inspire me.
All my life women have inspired me.
The essence of feminine energy and the love that emanates from a woman’s heart has always inspired me to look beyond our faults, flaws and imperfections.
As a teen I would seek out strong women, courageous women and those women blazing a trail right through cultural, religious, societal & gender expectations.
Back in the 80s and 90s there weren’t many examples of women breaking through barriers and being celebrated for their courage.
Those that I could find were few and far between.
Why did I need inspiring women?
I was always looking for examples of women who could help me to BELIEVE that I could come through these experiences I painfully living through:
-
A childhood of emotional, physical, mental and sexual abuse
-
A forced engagement that was likely to end in forced marriage
-
Being stuck for life in cultural expectations that I personally felt trapped in
-
Not being heard, feeling invisible and not feeling valued
-
Dealing with the real fear at the time of becoming a victim of honour killing
-
Being disowned and rejected from the family whilst at the same time extricating myself so that I could heal and put myself back together
-
and, Much more…
As a co-creator of my life, I refused to sit and believe I was a victim of my circumstances – I wanted to take ownership for the changes I could create in my life.
The only way and BEST way was to find women who had a walked a similar path of overcoming adversities and find the courage within myself to take back my power and change the path of my destiny.
I looked to each women and thought to myself:
If she can, so can I.
There is never space for comparison because each of us is walking a unique path made of circumstances, events, people and situations that are unique to our own personal & spiritual growth.
It’s the essence, example and lessons that each woman shares with us that inspires us to deeper healing and greater heights along the way.
This is why I share my purpose so passionately with the world…we are all examples to each other x
